Rathdrum has grown fast, and many of our calls there go to homes only a few years old. The rest come from acreage, shops and gates off Highway 41 and Highway 53.
Just closed on a house in one of the newer Rathdrum Prairie subdivisions? Plan on a rekey. During construction, keys pass through framers, electricians, painters and the sales side, and nobody tracks the copies. Rekeying swaps the pins inside the cylinders you already have, so only your new keys work. New-construction doors also tend to be square with clean preps, which makes it a good time to add a smart lock.
Past the newer streets, Rathdrum is acreage: shops, barns and gates along Highway 41 and Highway 53, often secured with a padlock or a hardware-store knob set that never quite fit. We sort out that hardware on site. Vehicle work leans toward pickups, with Ford, Chevy, GMC and Ram keys and fobs cut and programmed in your driveway instead of towed to a Coeur d'Alene or Spokane dealer.
Shut out of the house, shop or pickup at an odd hour? We open it without damage or a night surcharge.
$75–$130Locked out of a new build before you've made spare keys? We get you inside without wrecking the door.
$55–$110Keys on the seat of a locked truck? We open it with proper tools, never a slim jim.
$60–$110The usual first call after closing: builder, trade and realtor keys stop working, and your locks stay put.
$35–$75Trade the basic builder deadbolt for a Grade-1 model with a reinforced strike plate.
$75–$140New doors usually have a clean prep, so smart locks fit well. We set up guest codes, auto-lock, Wi-Fi and the app.
$95–$230Call any hour for a phone quote, then we head out to you, usually in about 18 minutes.
